RecipeLab PWA

A mobile-first progressive web app of rangefinder-inspired Fujifilm recipes. Browse, compare, tweak and save them in your browser, with nothing to install and your data on your device.

This was the original prototype. The native RecipeLab app for iPhone and iPad has since gone much further, and is where new features land. This repository is a simpler, open-source starting point for anyone who wants to build on it.

What it does

47 engineered recipes

Mapped to real film stocks and rangefinder shooting styles, as a starting point instead of trial and error.

Knows your camera

Recipes are checked against your sensor generation. Anything your body can't do shows a fallback suggestion.

Preview on your photo

Add an image and see a real-time approximation of the recipe before you dial it in on the camera.

Tweak, save and assign

Save named variations, log which custom slot holds each one, and open a full-screen field reference at the camera.

Try it

python3 -m http.server 8000

Then open http://localhost:8000. There is no build step and no bundler.
